San Quintin is a little Mexican town along the coast of Baja. There are some nice beaches here but we never made it to any of them. We stayed at Don Eddies which is a small hotel with a restaurant, bar and a few campsites along a bay. Campsite are available with electric, sewer and water for $ 340 pesos or $20 USD. The electric hookup was not grounded and the water is pumped in from the bay so it has a salty taste. We decided to dry camp for $ 250 pesos or $15 USD.
The place was run by Tony who lived in California but moved here to take over the hotel when his dad died. Tony was extremely pleasant, helpful and fun to talk too. We stayed here for two nights to break up some of the travel, complete a couple of school days and to watch game 6 and 7 of the World Series. Congratulations to the Washington Nationals!!!
